The Unbreakable® Umbrellas’ Limited Warranty

The Unbreakable® Umbrellas’ Limited Warranty is valid only for Unbreakable® Umbrellas purchased directly from us, at this website, unbreakableumbrella.com. Purchases from other websites are not covered by our warranty. The original sales receipt for the umbrella must be provided to obtain warranty coverage. We honor warranty claims only from original purchasers of our products, who have accepted our Condition for Purchase, at this website, unbreakableumbrella.com. Returns for repairs or refunds must be shipped from original purchasers.

Our Unbreakable® Umbrellas are handcrafted in Poland from the highest quality materials. Unbreakable® Umbrella frames are warranted not to break under normal use.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by an accident or abuse, such as throwing the Unbreakable® Umbrella under a train, a bulldozer, or a heavy truck, chopping with an axe, banging with a hammer, throwing into a wood chipper, setting on fire, or subjecting them to other abuses, for example, hitting stones, bricks, wood posts, hard metal parts, nor does it cover damage to fabric as well as scratches inflicted in the course of “trying them out,” or as a result of normal wear and tear. Any alteration of the Unbreakable® Umbrella, including disassembly of elements of the frame (except as required to replace the canopy), will void our warranty.

Unbreakable® Umbrella’s Limited Warranty doesn’t cover fabric’s wear and tear, as well as damage (unless the fabric is defective), because even the highest quality umbrella fabric cannot be guaranteed to withstand abrasive forces occurring at hard impact between wiring of the frame and the stricken object. Unbreakable® Umbrella is for defending against elements (in every meaning of the word) and not for clowning. It is covered in a high-quality waterproof fabric, not in abrasion proof or slash proof fabric, because it has to look, weigh, and work like a normal umbrella, so do not expect this fabric to be undamaged if you hit heavy bags, baseball bats, and such things with it.

Unbreakable® Walking-Stick Umbrella in Self-Defense: How to Hold It and How to Strike with It

Our Unbreakable® Umbrella is for defending against elements (in every meaning of the word) and not for clowning. It is covered in a high-quality waterproof fabric, not in abrasion proof or slash proof fabric, because it has to look, weigh, and work like a normal umbrella, so do not expect this fabric to be undamaged if you strike objects with the Unbreakable® Umbrella.

Whenever your umbrella gets wet, leave it open to dry. Allow your umbrella to dry fully before folding. Otherwise mold will grow on the umbrella’s fabric. As mold grows, it creates enzymes, which digest the fabric’s fibers on which it is growing, causing permanent fabric damage and weakening to the point of being easily torn by a light force.

    Use and Care Instructions
We want you to be satisfied with our Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella Model U-202s. To be satisfied with our Model U-202s you need to follow all the instructions below. Not following all those instructions voids the Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella Model U-202s’ warranty.

How to Carry and How to Fold Short Models of Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella (U-202s and U-212s)

Important Instructions Because Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella Got Popular with the Wrong Kind.

It is normal that the handle of either model U-202 or U-202s spins freely when the telescope is retracted. When the telescope is extended, the handle and the rod are blocked from spinning but one can overcome the lock with mild force.

For the models U-202 and U-202s telescope’s blockade to hold well, the rod has to be pulled energetically, with a snap, so its ball-bearing lock can engage fully.

Please note: Telescopic shafts of the Unbreakable® Telescopic Umbrella models U-202 and U-202s are made of high-strength construction steel, not stainless steel. After exposure to water these shafts need to be wiped dry and lightly oiled. Should rust spots be allowed to occur, they need to be removed with a Scotch-Brite pad or steel wool, prior to oiling. Oiling is to be done by putting a drop of machine oil on a soft cloth and rubbing both the tube and the rod of the shaft with the cloth.

      1. Hello, I have a similar question. If the cannopy wears out, or the ribs break, is it possible to replace parts or perform repairs? Thanks.

      2. Hi I’ve got the U-111 umbrella. I always use it when I go out with my family neatly tucked in to the pram. However I’ve dropped it a couple of times and would like to replace the handle. Can you please advise whether NTOI are provide spare parts in the England? If yes, can you please advise. Many thanks. Great product.

        1. Currently, we ship replacement parts, from the U.S.A., directly to our customers. Later this year, we plan to provide our authorized sellers with spare canopies and perhaps spare handles.

      3. Good afternoon

I have the walking umbrella and I found a rip in the material. I was wondering if you sell replacement tops for it? I’ve had this umbrella for years and I would hate to retire it.

        Thank you
        Lance
